Membership in South Carroll Aeromodelers shall be determined as follows:A) Membership limitation, if any, will shall be determined by South Carroll Aeromodelers and so recorded in the official club minutes. Membership limitation is subject to change.
B) New members, 18 years and older, are required to pay a non-refundable application fee of twenty dollars ($20.00), plus yearly dues.
C) All members must pay dues, fees, and other financial obligations as set forth by South Carroll Aeromodelers.
D) All members must follow the club’s Constitution, By-Laws, and general rules as set forth by South Carroll Aeromodelers.
E) Members are not permitted to operate or control Model Aircraft at any club facility unless said member is also a current member of the ACADEMY OF MODEL AERONAUTICS (AMA), and is accompanied by a qualified pilot or has demonstrated the ability to successfully take-off, control, and land model aircraft.
F) Membership entitles said member to participate in all activities of this organization.
G) All applications for new membership must be made in person at a monthly meeting. Arrangements for pickup of membership cards must be made by the member. The member must make arrangements for pickup of membership cards. Board of Directors will shall be responsible to enforce this directive.
H) A candidate for membership must attend two consecutive monthly meetings. At the first meeting, introductions will shall take place and club dues will be collected. The candidate will shall be placed on probation for one month. At the second meeting, the general membership willshall determine the candidate’s membership status.
