South Carroll Aero Modelers Flight Instructors

The following members have agreed to volunteer their time for flight instruction to new members who are just starting out in the RC hobby.

Look for them at the field.  In most cases these members would be more than happy to help you to setup your airplane and run through a check list to make sure it is airworthy.

They will test fly it for you, trim it out if necessary so that the plane will fly straight and level, and if everything is ok then teach you how to fly it safely.

Keep in mind, these people are doing this on a volunteer basis and are at the field for their own enjoyment as well as yours.  Please allow them time to fly their own airplanes as well.

If you are new to flying it would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with our Flight Training manual.  This would give you a head start in the rewards of R/C flying.
